Copper Is Unforgiving
Most HVAC work involves copper and thin-wall tube, and copper punishes a poor setup. Bend it without proper mandrel support and it collapses or wrinkles on the inside of the bend, restricting flow and ruining the part. Tight-radius bends on refrigerant lines need precise tooling because the wall is thin and the radius small. In a refrigerant or chilled-water circuit a partially collapsed bend means restricted flow and lost efficiency in the finished unit — so the machine has to produce clean, tight, repeatable radii in soft copper and thin-wall tube without deforming the cross section.

End Forming and Chamfering
HVAC tube ends frequently need forming to connect to fittings, valves and components — reducing, expanding, flaring and beading are everyday operations. The Vulcan End Forming handles these, with careful die design for copper, which tears easily if the geometry is wrong. Clean, chamfered ends braze and seal better, which is critical in refrigerant circuits where every joint has to hold pressure; the Bora chamfering machines prepare those ends reliably.
