Why Double Head Bending Is Made for Furniture
Furniture frames are full of symmetrical parts — chair frames, stool legs, handlebars, bed frames where the left and right bends mirror each other. On a standard single-head bender you bend one side, flip the tube, re-clamp it and bend the other. A double head tube bender does both ends in one pass — no flipping, no re-clamping. For symmetrical furniture parts that is a large saving in cycle time, and less handling means fewer errors and more consistent frames. For high-volume symmetrical work there is really no argument against going double head.
